Segeln mit Richard ist ein Erlebnis. Um es vorweg zu nehmen, alle meine Erwartungen sind voll erfüllt worden. Atlantik Segeln pur. Es gibt viele Anbieter auf den Kanaren die Meilenturns anbieten. Ich habe schon mehrere Turns bei einigen gemacht

und war gelinde ausgedrückt etwas enttäuscht. Ich segle jetzt so ungefähr 30 Jahre, habe mein eigenes Boot, nehme an Regatten teil und bin im Besitz des Yachtmasters. Segeln ist für mich Leidenschaft und es bedeutet auch lernen und viel Erfahrung sammeln. Vor allem auch zu lernen ein Boot sicher unter widrigen Bedingungen zu beherrschen, mit den richtigen Erklärungen und Praxis sammeln. Richard kann das gesamte Spektrum anbieten. Dabei sind bei ihm immer um die 600 sm oder mehr angepeilt. Nachtsegeln, Wachen gehen, Navigation, Passage planing, Wetterkunde das ganze Programm und wie vorher erwähnt auch unter widrigsten Verhältnissen, es ist kein Ostsee oder Mittelmeer Segeln, dessen sollte man sich schon bewußt sein. Aber genau das zeichnet diesen Turn und auch ihn aus. Ich habe auf jeden Fall sehr viel von ihm und auf dem Turn gelernt und es wird nicht mein Letzter bei ihm gewesen sein. Ich fühle mich auf jeden Fall sicherer und kann das Gelernte jetzt auch auf

meinem Boot und für meine Mitsegler umsetzen. Atlantik Segeln mit Richard ist eine ehrliche Empfehlung von mir für alle die Segeln als Leidenschaft sehen und gerüstet sein wollen für Ihre spatere Crew verantwortungsvoll und sicher

zu handeln.

Being part of the Milebuilder team in the last week of February 2025 was an incredible adventure—both physically and mentally demanding, yet deeply rewarding. The stunning sailing area offered everything from serene champagne sailing to the adrenaline rush of a rollercoaster-like ride through rough waters. Every moment was unique, and the memories we created as a team will stay with me forever.

We faced and overcame serious challenges together, such as supporting a crew member who felt seasick just two hours into the journey. Through this, we learned the importance of observation, teamwork, and taking action at the right time.

One of the most emotional moments for me was reaching 1,000 nautical miles—a key milestone for obtaining the Swiss Hochseeschein. Celebrating this achievement with the team and a non-alcoholic beer made the experience even more special.

A special thank you to Richard, who was an outstanding role model. His ability to lead with empathy and an extraordinary sense of safety made all the difference. His leadership not only ensured a smooth and secure journey but also inspired me in many ways.
