Ocean sailing is my favorite among all the available sailing options. It provides a complete disconnection from land and allows you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of ocean life, while sailing, working, and living through day and night, with full responsibility for your own environment. ​

Join me on a 6 day passage along the Canary Islands. We will be sailing day and night, with possibly one midweek stop, aiming to cover at least 500 nautical miles.
Each participant can act as Skipper of the Day, being responsible for the planning and execution of the passage with me being on your side as your personal coach. You will improve on passageplanning, route shaping, weather, pilotage, traditional and electronic navigation.
Sail through the challenging wind acceleration zones between the islands and test your skills and endurance in heavy weather conditions. Night sailing will further enhance your visual awareness, giving you a unique perspective on passage making after dark.

SALONA 45 “MILES AHEAD” , combining speed and luxury
Designed as a “Cruiser/Racer” she is fun and rewarding to sail. The twin wheels offer an excellent position for the driver, the cockpit is wide but secure, giving easy access to all control lines. She likes proper sail trim, and comes with laminate sails, a symmetrical spinnaker and a gennaker, making her sensationally fast in light airs and a blast in stronger winds. Below decks you will find a luxurious and roomy cruising lay out, with 3 large double cabins, 1 double bunkbed cabin, 2 heads/shower compartments, a large galley and seating arrangement for 8. She is RYA and Spanish safety coded and carries a wide range of electronic equipment
