Atlantic Sailing is the leading professional sail training centre in the Canary Islands. Our base in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands gives us the advantage of enjoying year-round spring time weather, constant moderate wind, beautiful scenery, awe inspiring sea life, and a taste of the Atlantic Ocean.
We are based in Marina Lanzarote, in the charming town of Arrecife in Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands.
Our school offers both practical and theory courses. In order to provide everyone with enough time to do the practical training, we take no more than 4 students per boat, unless it is a family or group of friends who choose to do so.
We offer a variety of other types of sail training activities including, short handed sail training for couples, own boat tuition, Master Classes and Mile Building or Adventure Ocean Sailing around the beautiful archipelago of the Canary Islands and beyond.
You can also book a berth or a whole yacht with one of our Skippered Sail Charters that will take you around the Canary Islands.
To book your next sailing course or adventure, please contact us for more information.
In addition to the RYA scheme, Atlantic Sailing offers a variety of other sailing activities, including Day Skipper Plus, Coastal Skipper Plus, Milebuilding, Adventure Ocean Sailing, Masterclasses training, (e.g. boat handling, sail trim), and more.
We offer "short handed" training for couples who plan to charter on their own.
We also offer Skippered Charters for Families or a group of friends who either want to do a training Charter or just time on the water to enjoy a thrilling sailing experience around Lanzarote and/or the Canary Islands.
